Göztepe’s focus on youth development contributes greatly to raising young talent, and with this partnership the Teknikmat Football Mat becomes part of the players’ training system. Young players at Göztepe Baku Football School will now use Teknikmat to develop their skills both on and off the pitch.
This agreement is an important opportunity to speed up players’ technical development and deepen their understanding of the game. Teknikmat’s innovative training videos will help these future stars become more confident, faster and more effective on the pitch.
Why is the partnership with Göztepe Baku Football School so important?
As one of the oldest clubs in Turkish football, Göztepe has invested heavily in youth football for many years, leading the way with football schools and academies in Türkiye and abroad. This new partnership with Göztepe Baku Football School shows Göztepe’s determination to expand its investment in football education and youth development.
The Teknikmat Football Mat plays a key role in this partnership by supporting players’ individual development. Highlighting the importance of training away from the pitch, Teknikmat lets players develop their technical skills at home or outside team sessions. Players at Göztepe Baku Football School will be able to improve core abilities such as technique, coordination, reaction, speed and agility both on and off the pitch.
What is Teknikmat and why does it matter for players?
The Teknikmat Football Mat is a training tool designed especially to improve young players’ work away from the pitch. It allows players to develop abilities such as ball control, reaction speed, coordination, conditioning and agility through individual sessions at home. The technical skills it builds contribute directly to their performance on the pitch.
One of Teknikmat’s biggest advantages is that players can improve quickly even with short daily sessions. Young talents at Göztepe Baku Football School will keep developing their technical skills with Teknikmat’s 8 levels and 160 Pro Football Training Videos, using deep learning and memory techniques. The videos were prepared by UEFA coaches and designed for every age group, so every player in the academy can speed up their development with training suited to their level.
Why training at home matters
Individual work away from the pitch is just as important for a player’s development as team training. Academy players in particular need to use every opportunity to improve their technique. Young talents at Göztepe Baku Football School can work on their weaker areas at home with Teknikmat outside training hours.
With 20–30 minutes of individual training at home, young players will acquire technical skills in less time. Academy players can progress faster by focusing on coordination, speed, quickness and agility to improve their performance on the pitch.
The advantages Teknikmat brings
The Teknikmat Football Mat not only encourages individual training but also speeds up development, helping players reach the highest level of their skills. So what are the main advantages for the players at Göztepe Baku Football School?
